I can’t draw or paint well, so never considered myself “artistic”.
However, I have always been fairly creative when faced with a project
or problem and have always enjoyed photographing beautiful things
and working with shapes/textures/colors. Some examples of my non-
jewelry "art"...
While working as a physician I began making jewelry for fun and
stress relief with a group of coworkers and became addicted to
beads. Despite giving jewelry to all my girlfriends the beads were
piling up, so when I retired and had more time for beads I started cjw
designs. My motto is "affordable jewelry that's fun to wear"
